ENTERPRISE
TAMAR IS A NOT FOR PROFIT ORGANISATION
set up in 1983 to provide free, confidential and independent
business advice to everyone. We have expanded over the years and
now have offices in Launceston and Liskeard.
Operating
within the framework of Enterprise Tamar is the Learning
and Skills Development Centre which
offers:

computer training

support
to improve literacy and numeracy

employability
programmes including CV creating and job search activities

Specialist youth
provision for young people aged 14-25

free help and support
to access on-line public services

business support and
training
-
Outreach
skills development programmes for people with disabilities
The
Centre also provides free information, advice and guidance about
opportunities for learning and work.
At
Launceston we also offer offices/workshops to rent on "easy
in - easy out" terms. We
deliver support designed to provide
information and advice to people thinking of starting a business,
or those in the early years of running a new business.
